Oaklawn Elementary staff, students, and families were anxiously following the election results last night (Tuesday, April 3rd) and are excited to know that the Oshkosh community was overwhelmingly in support of building a new Oaklawn Elementary School on site. Oaklawn met for a quick assembly first thing this morning to share in the excitement.
The next steps include plans to finish the current year in the building and transition to an off site location for students for the 2012-2013 school year.
There are too many individuals to thank, but we appreciate all the families, staff, and community members who gave their time and effort to provide Oshkosh with the appropriate data to make an informed decision.
